We are currently seeking a full-time Head of Learning – Technology and RTO Manager Years 6-12 to join our Middle and Senior Years Campus. This is a full-time permanent teaching position, with added Head of Learning responsibilities for an initial tenure of 3 years. This position will commence on Thursday 11 January 2024.
The Head of Learning Technology and RTO Manager provides strategic and instructional leadership and management to staff in the above referenced learning area. The person plays a key role in working with other staff to ensure learning outcomes are optimised for individual students. The learning areas may include subjects offered in under Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority (QCAA) syllabuses or Vocational Education and Training (VET) certificate courses.
The Head of Learning will consult, advise, co-operate and provide effective leadership and management in matters of school policy, organisation, practice and strategic direction with respect to curriculum and pedagogy (including teaching, learning, assessment, monitoring and intervention, and reporting).

In addition, the candidate must hold appropriate tertiary qualifications in Secondary Education, Relevant industry/vocational experience and formal qualification in Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110), LLN units or Cert IV Training and Assessment (TAE40116) as well as current Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) registration.
