Systems and Data Administrator

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will take the lead in resolving complex issues, ensuring that our systems run seamlessly, and our students and staff can access resources without interruption.
  • Responsible for set up and maintenance of user accounts and file security protocols, ensuring the safety and privacy of our school’s data.
  • Recommend and implement new technologies that enhance ICT efficiency, keeping our school at the forefront of educational technology.
  • Document and maintain procedures to a high standard, ensuring that our processes remain efficient and effective.
  • Assist with ICT projects.
  • Collaborate closely with other technical staff and college management to develop new processes that enhance school performance and effectiveness.
  • Oversee and manage various IT platforms and systems, including Active Directory, Office365, Azure, PowerShell, and more.
  • Develop and maintain scripts to automate tasks, improving system efficiency.
  • Identify inefficiencies in existing processes and procedures, providing solutions to streamline them.
  • Create links between systems and tools to facilitate seamless data transfer, enhancing data utilization.
  • Ensure the integrity and security of our data systems, in compliance with relevant data protection laws and school policies.
