2024 Teaching Positions – Junior Years Teachers

Trinity Lutheran College is seeking dedicated Junior Years Teachers to join our community, where you will play a pivotal part in shaping the educational journey of our students, fostering a positive learning environment, and contributing to their growth and development.

Applications are invited for Junior Years Teachers across Early Years (P-2) and Junior Years (3-5). These roles will be Full Time (permanent and Fixed Term positions available) commencing in Term 1, 2024.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain a positive focussed classroom atmosphere, a place where student learning and involvement is actively encouraged.
  • Applicants should have knowledge and experience in inquiry pedagogy and experience in an IB PYP school is desirable. Develop positive relationships with children, staff colleagues, parent/caregivers.
  • Prepare thoroughly for day-to-day teaching, demonstrating a professional attitude to teaching, related in-service and professional development.
  • Ensure competence in planning and implementation of learning programs to cater for all students.
  • Exhibit a willingness to evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs and continually develop and maintain a high standard of teaching performance.
  • Collaborate positively with colleagues to share information, resources, and best practices.
  • Implement strategies to address individual student needs and promote inclusivity.
  • Ensure competence in planning and implementation of learning programs to cater for students.
