With our strong Christian values, we seek to create a nurturing environment for our students to grow into their own unique success stories.

Lutheran schools promote Christian values and Christ’s teaching of love, acceptance, forgiveness, restoration and empowerment. We also consider the role of teaching to be more than a ‘job’ but a vocation, an act of service to the community, a way of using our talents and skills to benefit students and, thereby, to make a positive difference to our world.

Early in each school year we come together in worship to thank our God and to seek his help and guidance for our teaching ministry at Trinity. We call this the Commencement Service. At this service, we commit the year ahead to God and all new teaching staff and student leaders are installed into their roles. We also seek God’s help in supporting the Christian values and teachings that are the foundation of Trinity Lutheran College.

We also present two very special awards at the Commencement Service, the Megan Morris Performing Arts Scholarship Fund Award and the Emma Van Burck Science Prize. Megan and Emma were both gifted students of Trinity who lost their lives far too early.Through these awards, Trinity will always remember them.
