Class of 2021

Year 12 QCE, VET and ATAR Outcomes

Trinity’s Class of 2021 have continued the fine tradition of achieving their personal excellence in the Queensland Certification of Excellence (QCE) and Vocational Education and Training certificates issued by Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority (QCAA), the Australian Tertiary Admissions Ranking (ATAR) issued by Queensland Tertiary Admission Centre (QTAC).

Queensland Tertiary Admissions Centre (QTAC) determines the ATAR score using a student’s best five General subjects or a student’s best results in a combination of four General subjects results plus one Applied subject result or a student’s completed VET (Vocational Education and Training) qualification at Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) Certificate III level or above. Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority (QCAA) focuses on the curriculum and assessment aspects of the senior curriculum including endorsement and confirmation of internal assessments for quality assurance purpose. Furthermore, QCAA is also responsible for the end-of-year 12 external assessments, i.e. public examinations.

We are delighted with the achievements of our Class of 2021. As a Lutheran school focused on developing and celebrating all talents and gifts, and on always seeking to nurture and empower every learner, we offer an exceptional holistic education. We help our students to achieve their own best possible outcomes through various personalised pathways tailored for their unique areas of interest, no matter where they lie, facilitating individual success and personal best.

We congratulated many of our students as the recipients of scholarships given by Bond University, Griffith University, Queensland University of Technology, Southern Cross University and University of Queensland. Moreover, many were offered places well before graduating. There are many students within this cohort who achieved excellent results and whilst it is difficult to report on all of these, we have shared a few individual results below as examples of the quality teaching and learning program at the College and of the wide range of pathways chosen.

Well done Class of 2021. You have done yourselves and your college proud in delivering your personal best!
