The Junior and Senior Trinity Inter-house Swimming Carnivals were both held against the backdrop of fine, yet demanding weather conditions.  Despite the challenges posed by the extreme heat, our students put up stellar performances, in and out of the water.  Throughout both days of competition, house spirit was high, with prominent red, yellow, and blue colours dominating the Ashmore Road Pool landscape, whilst powerful house chants bellowed throughout local neighbourhood – it was an awesome display of house pride and school spirit!

Thank you to the Facilities staff who prepared our wonderful pool and surrounds; the Trinity academic staff who ensured each carnival ran smoothly and productively; and the Trinity Aquatic’s parents and New Zealand Netball Tour members who convened the canteen – your respective contributions were valued and appreciated. Specifically, a huge thank you to Trinity staff members, Liz Knox and Jason Croll for their significant contribution throughout both carnivals.  Without their substantial involvement, the carnival would not have been able to run as efficiently.

Following the two days of fierce competition, the following overall results were recorded:

+ Year 4 to 6 Inter – House Carnival Champions – Mackenzie

+ Year 7 to 12 Inter – House Carnival Champions – Stephan

+ Year 7 to 12 Spirit Shield Winners – Strohmeyer
