Trinity Lutheran College is a Kindergarten to Year 12 Christian co-educational college and an International Baccalaureate World School for the Primary Years Programme (PYP).  Located in Ashmore on the beautiful Gold Coast, we offer a world class education for all students.

We have an exciting opportunity for a maintenance person to join our growing team and be part of our community. We are currently seeking applications join us on a fulltime (38hours per week), 3-month fixed term contract with the possibility of extension. 

This position is responsible for assisting the maintenance team in the upkeep and maintenance of all College facilities across two campuses. 


A little About you:

  • Passionate about quality work and preventative maintenance 
  • Have strong communicate skills and ability to build strong relationships. 
  • Well organised and highly capable of multi-tasking. 
  • Have a proactive approach and be solution focused.
  • Be able to demonstrate experience in a similar role with general repairs and maintenance.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience and skills in the safe and effective use of tools and equipment


About the Maintenance Person role:

  • Ensure high level of customer service when responding to work requests in a timely manner.
  • Carry out repairs and maintaining a proactive preventative maintenance program throughout the campuses.
  • Assist with setting/ packing up for College functions and events and other movement of College property around the grounds
  • Be committed to ensuring the College grounds and facilities are maintained to a high standard.
  • Ability and experience in use of commercial grounds and maintenance machinery would be desirable. 
  • Must hold a current driver’s license and Blue Card or be willing to obtain one prior to commencement.
